kym update thoughts because there were too many things to fit in the authors notes:
did you know, realistically, being in a coma for only a week can easily require over a year of physical therapy. god i have thoughts about this
#fascinating aspect of the writing process: outlining a plot completely and THEN doing the research#because the medically induced coma was an aspect of the plot since the fic got extended from the oneshot it was supposed to be#but like. yesterday i did the research into it#(research i should have known considering HJKSDFG)#and g o d#i do kind of wish i wrote this arc with that in mind cuz the thought of rose strider having to do intensive physical therapy is. Hoo#i mean its still a factor in what i imagine rose's pre-sburb days were like#but i would have done MORE#oh well its nice to imagine a quick edward elric-esque montage of rose relearning how to walk talk & fight over the span of like 3-6 months#fic: kill your masters#verse: killswitch
